American Cinematographer Magazine Cover Analysis

American Cinematographer if published by an American publishing company, it is released monthly. It is another magazine which focuses on the arts and making of the film, it covers foreign movies, TV productions, movies, short films, commercials and music videos. There are interviews with directors and producers, it shares information on the technical aspects of the production, people who read this magazine are not focused on top-billed characters or hollywood blockbusters. The cover has soft tones and pastel colours, it targets a slightly older audience, the front cover does advertise well-known celebrities, this makes me think that they may be trying to target a younger audience who may be wanting a career in the film industry.
